Keys for Success:

1️⃣ Passion is contagious. Use your passion and devotion to lead a determined team to drive and maintain interest in your project, even if you have no revenue or product to show for it, yet.

2️⃣ Stay conscious of how your emotions — whether positive or negative — affect those around you, especially your team. A good leader manages emotions well and shows compassion, but does not lose control of self.

3️⃣ If and when you hit a setback, take a breath, stay positive, and refocus on the work you can do today to make your ultimate goal a reality. Call upon your mentors, partners and co-founders to talk it through when things get tough.

As a founder, you don’t have the convenience to hand off the issue to someone else — it is a short line between you, your company and your employees.

A driven, passionate leader wields a determined team. A discouraged founder undermines the productivity and wellbeing of their team. In a short time, your mental outlook changes the dynamic of the work…
